A trip to Lublin, Poland on the last day of September. I was visiting my sister and friends in Krakow one weekend, and it turned out she needed to go to Lublin for work. As I've never visited that side of the country and I love road trips, she thought I might be interested in coming and exploring the city a little bit. Her husband came as well, so I had company in my little adventure.
Oh, my lovely city, that's never been mine, that I've never managed to make my own! So many beautiful memories, so many irretrievable moments shared with amazing people. That is all I have, and what I cherish and will cherish forever!

On my first weekend in Poland during my recent trip, we went to places that are so dear to me, that have forever engraved special memories and feelings in me.
If there is one way to intimidate a hobbyist gardener, this is it: the National Heirloom Exposition in Santa Rosa. This year marked its third edition, and it was, as usual, spectacular, impressive, delicious and breath-taking.
On a beautiful August evening, we sneaked away and went to the beach to watch the sunset. It was spectacular!
We have two favorite beaches: Portuguese and Rock Point. Both are dog-friendly, which is pretty much the main criteria for us these days when choosing beaches or hiking spots.
